From script to screen.
The full producing lifecycle.
The HEARTH™ Film & Television Producing Lab develops producers from underrepresented communities through the complete lifecycle of television production. Participants work on their own projects — emerging from the program with a locked script, production budget, confirmed team, distribution strategy, and fundraising plan.
This is a two-version program. The 2026 Pre-Production Curriculum is the active launch — six months, virtual, for local participants in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. The 2027 Digital Series Cohort builds on it, producing a 6-episode digital series with the cohort as co-owners.
All participants sign a first-look arrangement with HEARTH™ — every project developed in the curriculum is a potential project HEARTH™ can develop further. This is not incidental. It is strategic.
Six months. Your project. The full lifecycle.
Applications close December 2026 · Program launches 2027 · Digital Series Cohort: Fall 2027
HEARTH™ holds a first-look arrangement on all projects developed through this curriculum. Every participant signs this agreement before the program begins.
